Still in Pain, but Trying To Get Long Awaited Sneak Peek Up :)

So here they are the long awaited sneak peeks, but not the Christmas ones yet. I have not got that far yet. :) Silly gooses!

So I am going to lump everyone into one BIG blog post.

OH THE PAIN!!

As most of you know...Friday and Saturday was my Christmas Sessions. Thursday my lower back...which I have a bulging disk....was hurting just a little. Well Friday I think I had about 13 or 14 sessions. I was up and down all day with little ones. My back hurt but not too too bad. Well when Saturday morning came and I just had to push thru the pain and pushing thru the pain probably was not the best thing, but that day I had about 16 sessions so I had to. I SO enjoyed seeing eveyone. The kiddos make me so happy. :)

Well needless to say Sunday morning I could not get out of bed by myself. I was in so much pain I could hardly stand it. Lynn had to help me just raise up and then he had to pick me up to a standing position. Then the massive...scream out loud pain came! Oh my! So today(Monday) I made it to my chiropractor...Access Chiropractic on Jordan Lane. Dr. J is awesome! If you need a chiropractor go to her! They worked on me it seemed like an hour and half. My disk is in such a shape that right now she cant actually adjust me yet so I just have to ice and rest. I go back tomorrow to have some more therapy. The electro therapy is wonderful. I love that. So for now I am on my couch with the laptop watching Friends. Wishing I could be proofing your portraits. :)

mister O is 1!

Fairen, my assistant could not believe Mister O was already 1. When she started working for me she could not look at the newborn babies and tell them apart by name. I would have to tell her who they were. I just knew them by looking at them. Now she can look and know who they are by face. So she was here when Mister O was born. Fairen was just shocked at how fast that 1 year went. It really does. Like I said before it is bittersweet. Mister O has the best personality. He is so laid back and just smiles so easy. Just a cutie pie! Here is your sneak peek mom and dad.

miss blue eyed beauty

She is one beautiful baby that is for sure. Her eyes are stunning! Her dad, mom and grandmother came and was a great help. She done wonderful and I believe she had a good time too. She turns one next week and I know that year flew by.

This was my first session in my new studio so I was very excited! It was great to have a dedicated space and to have a place comfortable for you all to come.

a wonderful family

This family traveled quite a ways to come see me in Mooresville. The children are the same age as my children...10 and 8. AND it was so funny to see that we have alot of the same clothes for our kids. Too funny! Same taste I suppose. :) Here is a quick sneak peek.

princess c is 1 already!

I am so sad and happy at the same time. I am happy for all my babies turning one and to see them growing, but at the same time I am sad because I am used to seeing them every few months. I get so close to my clients and the children. They come to know me. So it is sad to see them grow up. Bitter sweet may be a better phrase for it.

a very late sneak peek

I do apologize for being so late on your sneak peek. This family is always so wonderful to work with. The oldest little princess is my best buddy and before it is over with the smallest princess will be my buddy too. Right now she is a daddies girl, but I think I made some headway this session. :) They are all so sweet. Here are some from our session.

newborn sessions

I have so many inquires for sessions and I have been booked for so long until January 2009. I have found a few spots for newborns for November. These will go very fast. If you are interested call (256-658-4681) or email (info@simplicitybychristy.com) quickly. Also, I am booking January for newborns and any other sessions you would currently like to book. I cant wait to see all these new little ones. I love being with them and watching them grow. :)

Pictures of The New Studio

For those of you who missed it. We missed you and for those of you who came....thank you so much we loved seeing you there! We had a wonderful time and the food was great! So here she is. The rails will be painted at a later date due to the wood needing to cure. Also my new sign will be ready soon. This one was there to get me thru open house. :) Thank you to J& L Electric Signs for that. They were a life saver! Also, to Troglen Iron who made my wonderful wrought iron bracket for the sign. AND to my sweet, sweet hard working husband who done so much for me this past week. There are so many other family and friends who all made this happen...you know who you are....THANK YOU!!! I appreciate it more than you will ever know.

All of you Baby Planners with babies older than 6 months know what this room is. This is our paper studio room. All those beautiful images with color backgrounds and hardwood floors are made here. I am so glad to have a dedicated space for that now. :) AND real hardwood floors now!




Same here if you are a Baby Planner. This is the Hi-Key Room. This is not a wonderful pic, but one to show the room. Now I don't have to tear it down to put the paper up! Whoohoo! Nice!





AND of course I have to show off the bathroom. I think it is so cute!
