mister w is 6 months already!

How fast time goes by. 6 months and counting......
He is so very sweet and he done so well. 6 months is my favorite age I believe to photograph. They are just full of smiles and expressions...they are trying to figure things out. Just sweet. Here is a couple from Mister W's session.

they came from nashville

This mom and dad drove from Nashville to have portraits with Simplicity By Christy. How sweet is that? Mister W was perfect. You could not ask for a better session. Here are a few from that day. Make sure you look at those beautiful blue eyes and his eyelashes.

This brother and sister was great. I told them about the monkeys in the camera and that I had a surprise for them. Well she could not wait until she got her surprise for being good. It was so funny. She would ask after every image I took was it time. She was so excited. They both really done well. Here is your sneak peek.

meet miss e...she's a cutie

Miss E is so cute and I just LOVE her hair. Her parents are the sweetest and I love when parents are so very helpful in a session. They were definitely that. Thank you. We did learn a few things about Miss E...she loves to be swaddled and held tightly. :) How cute is she in her big sisters room? I love the paintings above. When I seen it I knew I had to use it somehow. Of course I have alot more to chose from, but this one stood out to me. Talk to you soon mom and dad.

When I am at a session I try and see whom the child resembles. It is hard sometimes when you are in person. Once I looked at Mister B's proofs he looks so much like his mommy. Mister B got really sleepy at his session so we are going to finish hsi session, but mom wanted to see some from these. Here are a couple. Talk to you soon.

i know, i know

I have not been posting sneak peeks in a few days. I apologize. I have been having monitor trouble and I had to wait (3 days) for a part to fix that. So here I am back trying to catch up on proofing and sneak peeks. When you lose 3 days on proofing that is MAJOR time loss. So I playing catch up.

Here is Mister F and he is the sweetest little guy. He reminds me of Noah when he was a baby. He has the prettiest blue eyes. AND he was wonderful for his session. I am very proud of him. Here are a couple mom and dad to tie you over. Talk to you soon.

BOOKED UNTIL JANUARY 2009

Like I have said before I am totally humbled by all my clients and the business they give me. They truly are wonderful. They go and tell all their friends and then they tell their friends and I am so very appreciative. With all this word of mouth I have booked my calender for the rest of 2008! I am currently accepting appointments for January 2009 believe it or not. What does this mean? It means if you are a Current Baby Planner or have contacted me for a Baby Plan you are safe with appointments of course. It also means that any NEW clients will be accepted in 2009. I am wonderfully blessed and I cannot thank you all enough.

If you really want an appointment be on the lookout for my Christmas Sessions I do in October. I will announce the date and session in August with the specials. There will be VERY limited appointments. Last year when I announced it with just a few hours it was half booked. Appointments book extremely fast! So I will have a cancellation list available for those who want to be on it.

what a beautiful little cottage

This family worked so hard on their yard for themselves and they wanted Miss L's 1 year portraits made there. It just looks like something out of a magazine. Ever since Miss L was born Daddy wanted his little girl portrait made with his prize possession. His Red Mustang. It really is beautiful. Yes, it is the one you have always dreamed of......and no it is not for sale. :) So here ya go mom and dad...just a few.

She was good while she lasted. She let us know she was tired of being a "superstar" after a while, but while she was good...she done very well. Miss EK is a spitting image of her daddy. It is just amazing to me how she looks more and more like him each time I see her. Here you are a quick sneak peek.

1 year and mooresville....i truly love this place

This is one little man that has not changed except that he has gotten bigger since I seen him last. He really look like his daddy too. He so good yesterday. Mister JD made my job, mom and dads much easier on a day that was in the upper 90's. Poor mommy is expecting baby #2 and I know it probably felt like 190 degrees to her. Relay For Life 2008

If you have never been to Relay For Life, please let me encourage you to do so next year. I am truly humbled to be part of this for 2 years in a row. This experience makes me very thankful that my family is healthy now and I am so thankful for the ones who are survivors. That is what they really, really are....SURVIVORS! It was so hard to choose which ones to show. There was so many good ones. Here are just a few. Everyone worries about rain which is a valid worry. We had a beautiful day, but I declare if the wind started blowing just unreal when we started shooting. It is the kind of wind that comes when a thunderstorm is nearby. There was not a storm by though. It was almost a deal breaker because of these little girls hair. We had the hardest time keeping it in place.
