Little Luke.

This is Luke and he turns 12 today. He lived in Colorado. Last week I got word from one of my photographer friends that he had a terrible accident riding his bike. He was going down on hill WITHOUT a helmet on and hit a pole. He had lots of damage to his head. Luke has gone on to be with Jesus. I am crying as I write this. I did not know this child personaly, but he is dear to my heart because I have children. Hug your children tonight and be thankful for them. Please learn from Luke and make sure your children wear helmets. I know I am going to from here on out. This childs poor family. Please say a prayer for the family. I know their hearts are broken more than words can ever express.

Here is a slideshow celebrating his life. He was a special child and now a special angel.

Rainy Day Turned Into A Sunny Day

This day started out being a cloudy, rainy day and I thought we may have to reschedule this session. By the time I got to this session the clouds had completely cleared up and we had bright sunshine. So for all of you photographers out there reading this know that is not the best thing especially since this location had no trees. But this wonderful family made up for the beastly sun. This is the Ragland family. They were a hoot too. Those kiddos could not wait to get to my candy pile at the end of my session. Thank you and here is your sneak peek. I will be in touch soon.

Hello Mr.A

Mr. A was so awake for his session, but his mom finally got him to sleep by putting him in his swing. It took a little while, but he got there in his own time. So we got some great shots while he was sleeping. He is such a sweetie pie. This is such a special session because his dad is leaving for Iraq Sunday. This little angel was born just in time to meet dad and have some pictures made. These pictures will be shipped to Iraq to keep dad's spirits up. Good luck and prayers for a safe return. Here is a sneak peek. I will be in touch soon.
